Our aim is to enable all dancers to reach their potential in Irish dancing both in team dancing and solos, and to love every minute of it! We want dancers to enjoy coming to classes, going to competitions and giving performances.
Most children join Gems Performing Arts as they enjoy performing and want to learn new skills, but more importantly, to shake off their shy tendencies, to grow in confidence and to interact with other children. Here at Gems Performing Arts, our classes are small and intimate.
Baby Loves Disco is a daytime dance party for parents with babies, toddlers and young children with real club DJs spinning and mixing retro floorfillers from the 70s, 80s, 90s and oos with the latest pop tunes guaranteed to get YOU and your little ones moving and grooving – all at a baby friendly volume so the whole family can party together.
The Marmalade Dance Academy caters for dancers who want to have fun in a wonderful, friendly atmosphere whilst learning classical dance technique and cool street dance.

An energetic start to the weekend is something we all need – adults and children alike. Our Saturday Club is a fabulous way for your children to get fit, be creative and socialise, ensuring they have a stimulating start to their Saturdays.
Classes with DDA are held in a warm, pleasant atmosphere for the very best learning environment and teachers are always encouraging and caring. We encourage students to learn within their own unique abilities and levels of achievement, explain everything in terms that are age appropriate and that the children can understand and relate to.
Carefully selected creative activities aim to develop performance technique and self-confidence. Our enthusiastic staff of qualified, experienced drama teachers, include professional directors, writers and performers.
Dance is a gift: it builds confidence through a pure art form, and thus opens the heart. It’s in that spirit that our dancers are given the opportunity to be in the spotlight and allow the choreography to take shape.
