Ilusion Flamenca

Ilusion Flamenca is a flamenco dance school based in Central London that offers regular flamenco classes at all levels.

The school offers the opportunity for children to be a part of Ilusion Flamenca’s theatre production ‘Gala Flamenca’ held once a year in a Central London theatre as well as other festivals held throughout the year.  ‘Gala Flamenca’ is a vibrant, professional production and the children glean an enormous amount of satisfaction and a sense of achievement from learning the choreographies and performing in front of a packed theatre, in colourful, authentic costumes.

Children enjoy the club and have a lot of fun learning Spanish dance moves: how to move their hands, clap and stamp in different rhythms. Children develop their coordination, space awareness, ability to work as part of a team and their sense of rhythm. Children love it!

 

Essential Information
Your child will need a uniform that consist of a flamenco skirt, leotard and flamenco shoes (tap or character shoes are fine) that can be purchased from the club. We have some second-hand uniforms and we help parents to recycle them once children have grown out of them. The club provides the rest: fans, shawls and hats.
