La Garenne School Winter Camp | Ski & Learn in the Swiss Alps

The La Garenne School Winter Camp is the ideal setting for your child to live well and learn.
Choose from either a dedicated ski programme for maximum fun or a ski and study combo for an educational twist.

Location:

The picture-perfect alpine village of Villars-sur-Ollon lies within easy reach of some of the Alp’s best downhill runs. While your child isn’t tearing up the snow, the area abounds with other enticing winter activities to enjoy. The site boasts sweeping views of the majestic Mont Blanc, the Rhone Valley, and the Swiss Riviera. Transfers are available from the train station and airport for an additional fee.

Ever since 1945, La Garenne International School has been one of the leading private boarding schools to offer tuition in the Swiss Alps. The exclusive co-ed institution operates on a philosophy of traditional values: responsibility, kindness, and security.

Furthermore, the school has a strong focus on optimizing its pupils’ well-being, which it achieves by incorporating Four Pillars: a balanced diet, ample sleep, varied activities, and a healthy mind.

Winter Program:

The winter programme is available to both day and boarding students for a minimum timeframe of one week. Extra days and weeks are possible for an additional fee.

Parents can choose from a Super Ski Programme or an Integration and Ski Programme. The latter includes intensive classes in the morning and the chance for kids to let loose on the ski fields in the afternoon. Both programmes have sociable activities in the evening, from reading and sports to arts and games.

Transfers, photo packages, birthday celebrations, health insurance, and private language classes can be incorporated into the programme on request.

Sports, Arts, Fun Activities and Excursions:

The Super Ski Programme lets your child hit the slopes for up to five hours per day, spread between morning and afternoon sessions. A professional ski or snowboard instructor is on hand to help them hone their skills and enforce safe skiing practices.
