Mini Picassos Art classes for 4 - 8 yrs

Monday 6th January - Saturday 4th April

​What to expect:

​Mini Picassos 4 - 8 yrs art sessions are fun and educational.

​Our projects are usually 4 - 6wks long, we use the work of a famous artist as our inspiration for our art piece such as a painting on canvas or pastel study, sculpture or print.

Mini Picassos teachers will discuss the  work of the artist and show examples, encouraging questions & comments from the students We will show various art techniques & introduce a variety of media for children to experiment with markmaking & colour

​Projects this Term:

​4 - 5yrs - A different artist inspired activity each week, exploring a variety of media & art techniques.

​5 - 8yrs - This term we will be exploring the self portrait, inspired by Julian Opie's simple & striking portraits. Working in sketchbook & on canvas using acrylics.
