London Transport Museum - Family Activities

The Museum is a great place for your family to have fun together and discover the history of London’s famous transport network.

The Transport Museum hosts regular family weekend events including crafts and storytelling. Details of events coming up are featured on their website.

Don't miss the Family Play Zone which is full on entertainment for the under 7s. Children will be able to get in the driver’s seat of a real bus, repair a mini Tube train and play in the ‘Lost Property’ office. They can also enjoy ‘sailing’ the Thames Nipper, serve passengers in the Nipper café, fly the Emirates Air Line cable car, make driver announcements and help customers at the mini information desk using the magnetic message board, maps and clocks.

You can visit the Museum 363 days a year. Adults can buy a season ticket for 12 months, and young people under 17 go free! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
