Hackney School of Folk is a music school for children aged 8+. We welcome all levels of players from complete beginners to experienced musicians who fancy adding a bit of folk to their repertoire. We find a level that works for each individual pupil. Our lessons have two parts - instrument specific lessons with each of our expert teachers, and then a band practice, where the entire folk school meets to work on songs and tunes for performance together. We want you to enjoy it, make new friends and make a great sound...join us!

Classes for all instruments are on Thursday evening and all musicians are invited to attend the band practice after lessons
