Bring your imaginations to the Clore Learning Centre and discover the skills and secrets behind productions at the National Theatre.

Family days for adults and children to enjoy together take place throughout the year.

Discover the skills and secrets behind productions at the National Theatre: have a go at designing a costume; learn how our actors perform realistic fights on stage; try your hand at composing inspired by music from our productions; meet some of the team who work behind the scenes to bring NT productions to life.

10, 15, 22 and 28 August
4–5pm
Clore Learning Centre, National Theatre
£5/£3

Please note you must purchase a ticket for all children and adults attending

Alph loves an improvised sing-song, Gammo lays down the funkiest beats in the galaxy, and Betty is the best bluesy backing singer this side of Jupiter. But how do they do it?

To learn all our spectacular space-song secrets, and much more, head to the NT Space Station for some music-making mayhem.

This workshop is for children aged  5–10. Sorry, we can’t admit children under the age of five. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults accompanied by a child. Each adult may only be responsible for a maximum of three children.
