Richmond Junior Chess Club was founded in 1975 and over the years has produced many titled players including Grandmasters such as Luke McShane and Jonathan Rowson.

The West London Chess Club is run on Saturday mornings and tuition is given by Meri, a West London Chess Club member who is a woman FIDE master, England Women's National Team Member and ECF Accredited Coach.
